Woodland eggs mostly originate from three beautiful rural properties located in Waitaki, one of the most unspoiled areas of the South Island. The Waitaki region is noted for its temperate climate, clean air, and excellent water quality.
These properties have impressive stands of trees, along with smaller copses that also provide shade and shelter for our hens. This charming woodland character was the inspiration for our brand name.
To ensure Woodland eggs reach you in fresh and perfect condition, they are collected every day, individually inspected, graded and packaged on site, before being carefully transported to your local supermarket or foodservice outlet – and as far afield as Hong Kong.
