A 2012-vintage Champagne from Piper-Heidieck, made with 48% Chardonnay and 52% Pinot Noir grapes. Elegant and balanced, it offers aromas of lemon, lime and tangerine, alongside delicate smoke and sweet almonds. Initially the palate offers notes of pomegranate and almond, quickly developing into smoked tea, wild honey, black cherries and blueberries. Try pairing this Champagne with white meat or roasted partridge.
