Oolong Tea
Description
This is a semi oxidized tea, which is known for its rich character and pleasant lasting aftertaste. Often referred to by its common name Hong WuLong, this tea is directly sourced each year from a cooperative in the Fujian province of south east China. Reminiscent of hazelnuts, it is a dark, roasted style of oolong tea, which offers a full bodied and savoury flavour that lingers on the palate.
This variety of Oolong is darker and more bold in colour and flavour than our lighter TieguanyinOolong
Brewing
Place a heaped teaspoon (2 grams) of tea per cup (250ml) into a teapot or infuser. Add filtered water at 70c80c and allow to infuse for 23 minutes. Strain the tea and serve. This tea can be steeped multiple times.
